It is a great free prep for students preparing to take the writing placement test or as a refresher for their college writing course. It is designed to follow a two-week format (but it can be completed in a different time frame).
Children are not permitted in the Testing Center.
Please make appropriate child care arrangements.
Computerized exams are offered during our normal hours of operation. For computer based exams, please submit your Computer Exam Appointment Form and select Lancaster for your location. For the paper/pencil exam schedule, please refer to the Paper Testing Schedule for the multi-campus listing. The form and schedule can be found on the Test Center's website.
The Lancaster Campus is a limited CLEP center and administers CLEP exams to students currently taking HACC credit courses only. Students must show proof of current HACC course enrollment. For more information, please contact lanctestcenter@hacc.edu or view the CLEP Testing Registration Form (pdf) for the Lancaster campus.
Non-HACC students: please contact our Harrisburg Campus at 780-2480 or check the College Board website for other testing locations.
The Test Center does not provide accommodated testing. Students who need accommodated testing must complete a Testing Accommodation Request form located in Main 212. For more information, students can contact Vicki Van Hise, Coordinator, Disability Services at 358-2972.
