FIRST, you need to set up a personal EBSCOhost account, which will enable you to save search results, search alerts, and journal alerts to your personal folder.
1. Go to the HACC Library Website
2. Select Articles & Databases
3. Scroll down to select EBSCOhost
4. Select Sign In
5. Select Create a new Account (next to Login)
6. Fill in all the fields to Create a new account (Personal Account) and then
select Save Changes.
If all of the information is accepted, a message will appear providing your
username and password. You will be automatically logged in as a personal user.
Remember to note the username and password for logging in at future sessions.
1. Sign In to your personal EBSCOhost account and select Folder.
2. Select Journal Alerts and Search Alerts to see the email alerts you have created.
3. A list of saved Journal Alerts and/or Search Alerts will display with options to
delete or edit.

4. Select Sign in
5. Type in your Username and Password and then select Login.
6. Hover over Publications at the top of the screen to choose a collection.
7. Enter the title in the Browse field and select Browse or use the A-Z links
with the left/right arrows to browse through the entire list of titles.
8. Your title should come to the top of the list.
Check the box next to the title(s) you would like to receive email alerts for and
select Add.
9. Your journal choice(s) will display in the top box. Select Search.
10. Select Create Alert
11. The Create Alert screen appears, in which several fields have been
automatically filled in. You may adjust the fields or leave them as they are.
Select Save Alert (found at the bottom left corner of the screen).
An EBSCOhost Alert Notification will be sent via email as confirmation.
