Greetings to Professor McCloud's Foundational Studies students!

Your assignment asks you to choose one of the following topics:

• Academic Skills – pick one: critical thinking; information literacy; academic honesty; or code of conduct
• Specific Career Field – a specific career or major (e.g. nursing, business, criminal justice, etc.)
• College Success – pick one: textbook reading; notetaking; memory strategies; test-taking
• Controversial Social Issue or Pro/Con – both or all sides of the issue must be presented

To do so, you'll need to find:

• 1 journal article from a HACC Library database
• 1 credible webpage from a .gov or .edu website
