This is the class guide for Professor Thayer's York Campus Strategy-Based Reading III class

Find and Article - Share the Citation

1. Write down several search terms, or Keywords, that you will use to find information for your topic.
2. Select a database from those provided on the Articles page.
3. Conduct a Full-text search using your keywords. 
4. Select an article from the results list that may be useful for your research.
5. Find the pre-made MLA citation provided and copy it [ctrl c].
6. Come back to this page and click the pink + below (it's in the lower right corner).
7. Click on Subject and add your first name
8. Click on "Write something...", and type the keywords that you used to find the article.

Finally... 
9. Paste your citation [ctrl v]. You've completed the exercise - now you know database search basics!
