ENGL 101 - English Composition I - Clever

Hi Class!

I'm excited to be working with you this semester!

You are being asked to use the library databases to find some sources such as magazine articles, journal articles, or book chapters.  One way to do this is to use our "Summon" search below, which searches across most of HACC's databases.

To search specific databases, use the navigation to access the "databases" section of this guide.

For tips on searching Google, use the navigation to access the "web sites" section of this guide.

To learn about the SIFT Method for evaluating sources, access the "evaluating sources" section.

Share your topic & brainstorm keywords

Try searching most of our databases at once, using Summon

Try searching Summon, using the keywords that you have brainstormed for your topic. Summon searches HACC's books & media catalog and many of our databases at one time. It may also help you to discover particularly useful databases for future use.
