Course Description

NURS 143 Introduces the concepts and skills related to Informatics in nursing practice. Didactic instruction focuses on basic computer competency & information literacy as aids in the decision making process and the provision of evidenced based nursing practice. In addition, the necessity for providing a "culture of safety," related to the use of Informatics in nursing practice, is stressed.
