Linking Videos in PowerPoint

NEW! October 2013: Films on Demand streaming videos cannot be embedded into PowerPoint slides.

You can link to Films on Demand videos in PowerPoint slides with one additional necessary step:

  1. Add the full Films on Demand video link to your slide.
  2. Open the web browser that is compatible (default) with PowerPoint.
  3. Open Films on Demand. Minimize the screen.
  4. When you click on the link in the slide, it will go to the video if you have Films on Demand up and running (in the background).

If the presentation is long, the connection to Films on Demand will timeout. You may want to do steps #2 and #3 just before showing the film.
