Important Announcements

 

  • HACC Tutoring Fall 2025 end of semester dates:
    • Wednesday, December 10 - Final day to submit to HOWL
    • Friday, December 12 - HACC Tutoring closes at 4pm (including In-person, remote drop-in, and remote appointments)
    • tutor.com will be available
  • HACC Tutoring's Inclement weather policy
    • On-campus and remote drop-in tutoring will be closed or open on a delayed schedule based on the college's decision
    • Remote appointments will be available
    • HOWL will continue to accept and review submissions
    • Please make sure you are signed up for e2campus to receive notifications about campus closures

On-campus tutors may be available in remote drop-in tutoring when not working with on-campus students.

Tutors are available on a first come, first serve basis. Wait times may vary.

  • Lancaster - Main 232 (within Brossman Library)
  • Lebanon - The Hawk's Nest, in Bishop Library, Downstairs

Important Reminders

  • Our tutors look forward to helping you through your questions and homework assignments. Tutors may not assist with quizzes, exams, or certain graded assignments (unless otherwise indicated by instructor).
  • Tutors assist with course content, so they focus on what students are actively learning. Students must be enrolled in a class and the term must have started in order for tutors to assist students. 
  • Please keep in mind that many of our tutors cover multiple subjects and courses. They may need to brush up on specific topics to offer the best tutoring. If scheduling an appointment, please include a comment with the topic you would like to discuss so they can be prepared to help.
  • All tutoring services will require you to log in using your myHACC login information. You will also need to have your first and last name displayed to enter our Zoom sessions. You can find instructions to change your display name here.
