The Learning Commons is the manifestation of HACC’s strategic remodeling plan to create One College, Uniting for Success. We foster relationship building, connecting students to students, students to faculty, students to staff, students to equipment, and students to information. The Learning Commons harmonizes four key areas of the College: testing, tutoring, library public services, and technology user support. These four areas represent essential resources for student success and, where their services overlap, the Learning Commons emerges.
Our core mission is to connect students to four key resources of the College: testing, tutoring, the library, and technology user support. We serve HACC as agents of student success and retention, empowering students to realize and reach their true potential by connecting students to the resources and information they need for their success and degree completion. Regardless of campus location, whether face-to-face or online, the Learning Commons is the hub for student success.
