Renewing Materials

An additional 2 week renewal is permitted for general books, media and leisure reading materials unless the item has already been requested by another user.

To renew material, log in to your library account or contact the library at libraryreturns@hacc.edu.

Returning Materials

Books may be returned to either the library desk during operational hours or placed in the outside book drop on each campus at any time. For book drop locations, please see the maps below by clicking on your campus.

Equipment should be returned directly to the library desk during operational hours or to our Learning Commons partners in User Support when the library is closed.

Have a question about returning or renewing your item?
When an item is overdue, a text message is sent to the cell phone number listed on the student's account. Students continue to receive overdue email reminders to their hawkmail accounts.

Students can email libraryreturns@hacc.edu with any questions regarding overdue or renewing materials, as well as any damaged or lost items on the student's account.

In addition, items may be renewed online (twice for books, once for equipment not borrowed through the technology loan program). This can be done via your account in the online catalog

If you are looking to return textbook rentals please check the bookstore.
