Creative Commons Licenses

OER are licensed with one of six different Creative Commons Licenses which allow creators not only a way to copyright their work but also control how those works are copied, reused, and shared. The CC License Chooser can assist you in selecting a license. In order for materials to be considered OER they must allow users to revise and remix.
