Finding Stock & Financial Information

  1. Go to Hoovers Online. 
  2. Search for your company in the search box in the main search box at the top, e.g.: Starbucks Corporation
  3. Click on your company's top result, and you will be brought to the Company Summary page.
  4. On the left-hand side of the page, look for the Financials section. Browse the various links in this section including Stock Report, Financial Health, and more. 


     
  1. Go to Business Source Complete.
  2. On the right-hand side of the search page under Browse, click on Company Information.

     
  3. Search for your company, and then click on your company's official name (usually the top result). 

     
  4. Go to the Financials section. 
  1. Go to Business (ProQuest).
  2. On the Advanced Search screen in the Company/organization search box, type your company's name, e.g., Starbucks
  3. Under Document type, check the box next to Financial Materials.
  4. Click Search, and browse the results for relevant information.

Most companies will have an area on their website specifically targeted at investors, which typically has a great deal of financial information. Here's how to find it:

  1. Go to Google.
  2. Search for your company's name followed by the term, "for investors" - e.g., Starbucks for investors
  3. Browse the results list and look for anything that comes from the company's official section of the website for investors.
